About

FlexiViewer is a 3D model viewer that utilizes Apple Vision Pro to provide an immersive experience inside a 3D model, making the presentation more intuitive than traditional flat information such as photos and videos. FlexiViewer can be used at trade shows, product presentations, and other events where the overall shape and internal structure of the exhibited item needs to be conveyed to the audience in an attractive and effective manner.

The application offers two viewpoint modes, Bird's eye view and Immersive view, which allow you to seamlessly switch between them to view the 3D model intuitively and efficiently. In Overhead view mode, the 3D model can be freely moved and rotated while the overall shape of the object can be viewed. In the immersive mode, the viewer can dive into the 3D model to check details and space while enjoying a realistic feeling of being in the 3D model.

In order to investigate the usability and effectiveness of Apple Vision Pro and this application in attracting visitors to the exhibition, the application was experimentally exhibited at the 6th Japan Energy Summit & Exhibition held from June 3 (Mon.) to June 5 (Wed.), 2024, at the booth of Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd. (Minato-ku, Tokyo; President: Shinichi Sasayama), and exhibited at their booth on an experimental basis.
