PARALLEL

PARALLEL is an experiment that mixes the virtual cityscape with the real cityscape. Using this app, you can walk in a city with changing the ratio of virtuality and reality as you want. There are three technologies that create a Mirror World experience: City structure data of Google Maps API, spatial alignment with Immersal SDK, and body segmentation of ARKit. In the near future, cities will have multiple information layers and people will live in a personalized city. PARALLEL is an AR prototype that foresees the future of our cityscape that blends virtuality and reality.
